EXECUTIVE NOMINATIONS
Nomination forms for the 2011 Blackburn Ladies
Softball Executive are now available from team reps.
All positions are open and we are looking for volunteers
to fill these positions. The forms will have descriptions
of the duties of each positions or online you can
view the League
By-Laws. Please note that to run for president
you will need one year experience on the executive.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to
contact Laurel
or any other 2010 executive member.
FUNDRAISER INFO 
The League is selling 800 thread count bed sheets
In 14 different colour's. Any size for only $30.00
a set. If you are interested come see Joanne O'Neil
at the ball diamond and she can show you the colours.
All orders must be in by August 30th!
10TH
ANNUAL DUFFERS DERBY
** Registration deadline
has been extended to Monday Sept 6th.**
Information is now available 
regarding
the 10th Annual Duffer’s Derby to be held on
Saturday September 18th at Montpelier Golf Course.
The cost will be $65 (includes cart, green fees and
bbq). Be sure to register early! Always a fun time!

TOURNAMENT UPDATE
Congratulations to all teams
on a great tournament! The winner on the competitive
side was the Pointe Clare Royals. On the rec
side the winner was Blackburn 2. The League
would like to thank everyone for their help and all
the sponsors for their support!
RECIPES NEEDED!
Ladies - do you have a recipe that you would like
to add to a new League cook book? If you have
a funny little story to go with it please send that
as well! Plans are to release the book for the banquet.

space in the cookbook please contact the ladies
